Ludoteca and Toy Museum

Ludoteca (children's play-centre) and Toy Museum of Évora

The Ludoteca and the Toy Museum are two spaces dedicated to children, which operate in a single building located in the Almeida Margiochi Children's Park.

Ludoteca (children's play-centre)

The Ludoteca de Évora is a very pleasant space where the educator responsible accompanies the children in their games. There are lots of toys, games and books for kids to enjoy when they are tired of strolling through the streets of Évora.

Toy Museum of Évora

The Toy Museum, which can be visited by previous request, is part of several collections of toys that marked the 40s and 50s of the 20th century, especially a train still in operation. This is the ideal space for visitors to show the children as they themselves, as their parents or grandparents used to play in the old days.

Although the space is small, there are lots of different kinds of toys.
  • Toys & Hobbies
  • Traditional Toys (handmade, wood and wire)
  • Military Toys
  • Toys for Means of Transport
  • Games
  • Doll Houses
  • Dolls and Dolls
